You mistake talent for worth.

If Einstein had to spend his days finding food, making his own clothes, fashioning his own shoes, he wouldn’t be ‘Einstein.’

Specialized labor works. It is in that sense that egalitarianism is a viable concept.

Thought experiment: If a shop of talented woodworkers hires someone to answer the phone, do the paperwork, sweep the floors, etc,, thus giving more time to the woodworkers to actually work wood, isn’t that someone, in effect—insofar as the shop is now producing more output—a ‘woodworker’ too? If they had hired an actual talented woodworker their output would have gone up too. So, what’s the difference?
