Experiencing 'no change' is like experiencing no heat. It's a relative thing.

It might seem there is no heat, because you are very cold, but to actually 'experience' no heat is to be dead.

Same with 'no change.' To live is to change. Heart beating, lungs breathing, blood pumping. Perhaps those sensations and others can be blocked out, but what are you then experiencing? It's like walking into an empty building. It may be empty, maybe because you've emptied it, but there is still the building...
