So you would...what? Outlaw religion? Outlaw the spread of religion? Outlaw free speech about god?

Any of those will lead to strife.

And it's not belief in 'god' that causes strife anyway. It's the quest for power in the name of god. So we're really not talking about god, we're talking about people trying to gain control over other people. Be it in the name of god, gold, king, nation, or even family, those who seek power will FIND a lever to wrench power for themselves.

The rest is just words and despair.
