That's an excellent point, but I think there is a difference. Dressing and even dancing provocatively, in public, does invite attention, but it no more invites forcible rape upon the person so dressed any more than dressing in greasy coveralls and working on my car in public invites another to force me to work on their car against my will. Rape, yes, is a selfish act. But in the artist's case I think curiosity was more at play, a 'how far will she let me go?' kind of thing. Which doesn't absolve the perpetrator(s) of any harmful acts, but neither does it absolve the artist herself.
