The irony of objective reality is that without a consciousness assuming it exists independently of consciousness, it doesn’t exist at all.

All experience is NOW. Lacking experience of a coffee cup, there is no coffee cup being experienced. Lacking experience of reality apart from experience, there is no reality apart from experience. What might exist is the memory that a certain reality once did exist. But memory, as it happens, is also ‘remembered’ NOW!

Objective reality is an assumed reality. (Kind of like god, at least for those who so believe.)

Without objective reality determinism as a potential reality falls apart. There is no causation NOW because there is only NOW. What remains is the use of memory, stored data, knowledge, the principle of causation, and so on, all existing NOW, used as a means of ordering and making sense of NOW.

And quantum ‘reality,’ wave function collapse, ‘emergent’ phenomena? What’s to emerge if there is only NOW?

Free will, the concept, lives! NOW!

Thanks for the read!
