What's with the fixation on god?

I look at god like salt.

Some salt pretty much all their food. Some never salt any of their their food. Some salt as they feel is needed.

Whether they salt or not is up to them and any attempt to convince then that their food does or does not need salt will go in one ear and out the other.

Let people have their salt, or not. Because the real problem isn't god, or salt. It's fear.

The world is changing, fast, and that is making a lot of people very afraid.

My own tack is to try to ease fears.
