Yes, in terms of each other. But then again, neither observer nor observed exists without the other. They are better understood as one 'thing.' You and I may share the experience of an observed universe, but that doesn't mean the observation exists independently of either or both of us. We must be careful not to mistake shared experience for an absolute 'reality.'
